if you couldn't tell by the 'new' part, this is the NEW pokering! the old one, linked here, is no longer in service, with a small community and seemingly no plans to be updated, as the owner has been on break since 2023. having noticed the files were openly available, i decided to remake it, with minor optimization, new submissions, slightly changed rules and a fresh coat of paint! if you wish to register, please email me (which you can find in the links section!) with the subject line; "POKERING APPLICANT"! once suppling your trainer name, the pokemon you would like to have, it's name and preferably a 70x70px gif/image of your pokemon, and your site, you will recieve an email back within 3-5 days confirming your addition- along with all required information such as the widget code, a certification of ownership and a virtual cookie.

RULES

your website must be built by your own hands. this means no carrds, strawpages, or the like. be tolerant and accepting of others! if you are homophobic, sexist, transphobic etc, we do not allow you here! unlike the original pokering, we do allow duplicates of pokemon! if someone else has a pokemon you want, you can still get your favourite! however, shinies are not allowed, though glitched/misc pokemon are, such as missingno or substitute. fakemon, romhacks or anything else are also allowed if you credit the original artist in your website below the pokering, i have no issues with this!

ISSUES

this is a list of currently known issues with the new pokering. as of right now, i cannot find a way to resize the pokering widget, making it much harder to put into sidebars, and overall a pain. images/gifs bigger than around 70px really bug out the widget. along with this, i would like to start work on a series of new backgrounds, and find a way to make them toggleable/optional for users, as of right now the background is built into the widget, however i plan to have that change eventually! along with player/pokemon specific stats.. oh and theres a glitch where the code wont update until a few hours later/sometimes it just wont show up at all even if youre on the list.. need to look into that!
